Mike Lubin said he’s always focused on providing extra personalized attention to his clients, even when the market wasn’t as volatile.

“A great realtor has the ability to listen and really care about the person you’re working with,” said Lubin, a realtor with Century 21 – Curran & Oberski in Northville.

“It’s really important,” he added. “You have to pay attention to every step of the process to make sure your transaction closes.”

His clients appreciate that attitude.

While many of the sales and purchases he facilitates are in the Northville area, he also reaches out to nearby communities.

“It’s a tough market for buyers, but wonderful for sellers,” he said. “This year there is super-tight inventory. Interest rates are discouraging people from selling.”

The good news, he said, is that spring is approaching and it’s the prime home-selling season. Lubin predicts the market will remain competitive but there will likely be more homes for sale.
