Wednesday, May 8 kicks off the first Sights & Sounds concert series, along with the monthly Food Truck Rally from 4-9 p.m. There will be a children’s performance at 4:30 p.m., and the warm-up band at 5:30 p.m. At 7 p.m., popular local band, The Groove Council, will perform. Free admission! Also enjoy free face painting, balloon art and kids’ craft at each food truck rally/concert series.

Wednesday, June 12 is Family Pride, a community event specifically designed to celebrate and support families within the LGBT+ community. This event provides a safe and inclusive space for LGBT+ individuals, couples and children to come together to socialize and connect with others who share similar experiences and identities. Free admission! Also enjoy free face painting, balloon art, kids’ craft sponsored by the RO Public Library, along with stilt walkers, jugglers, community vendors, crafters and live entertainment from the Ferndale PRISM Men’s Chorus. Captain Fantastic, an Elton John tribute band, is also returning for a second year. Food trucks and dessert trucks will fill the surrounding area with plenty of seating inside and outside the market.

July 10 and August 14 is the food truck rally and Sights & Sounds concert series from 4-9 p.m. Children’s performance will be at 4:30 p.m., warm-up band at 5:30 p.m. and the main act at 7 p.m.

September 11 – Community Wellness Expo + Food Truck Rally 4-8 p.m. The Royal Oak Farmers Market partners with the Alliance of Coalition to host a Community Wellness Expo. Free admission! Over 30 community health and wellness vendors, free face painting, balloon art and kids’ craft, along with a variety of food trucks.

Weekends at the Market

Farm Fresh Friday will start Friday, May 10, 7 a.m.-1 p.m. We are excited to announce a new farmer we have joining us on Farm Fresh Fridays. They will be bringing starter plants of all kinds and herbs. Over 20 different varieties of Halloumi tomatoes come when they’re in season. The limited farmers market will also have homemade soups, baked goods, honey, eggs and more. You will also find crafters displaying their homemade items for sale. Come support small businesses!

Saturday Farmers Market, 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Over 60 vendors fill the market each Saturday. Farm fresh produce, eggs, dairy, honey, baked goods, cold pressed juice and specialty foods. Spring brings flats of flowers, hanging baskets and porch pots. Every weekend is flower day at the Royal Oak Farmers Market. Live music 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Come experience the farmers market with a cup of coffee from the coffee shop and a French pastry from Cannelle bakery.

Sunday Antique and Collectible Show, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Over 60 vendors selling their rare and unique finds each week. Record albums, comics, vintage clothes, toys, collectibles and so much more!
