Canton's 33rd Annual Liberty Festival will take over Heritage Park from June 18-20, offering plenty of family fun, live entertainment, festival food, and more!
New this year, the festival’s carnival and midway areas will implement earlier daily start times at 10 a.m., and will also close earlier at 8 p.m. each evening. In addition, Canton’s community fireworks will now be held on Thursday, July 9, during the special event, “Canton Ignites the Night”, which is an “America 250” celebration marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The entire carnival area will be fenced in with two entrances. Adding to existing security protocols, bag checks will be performed only at these entry areas. Although not required, attendees with clear bags may experience quicker inspection for entry.
These safety protocols and adjusted hours are intended to enhance Liberty Fest’s family-friendly atmosphere while prioritizing the safety and comfort of attendees, volunteers, performers, and staff.
As always, festivalgoers will enjoy exciting rides, a thrilling Midway, two entertainment areas jam-packed with live performances, a marketplace, and more! Watch for special wristband discounts coming soon for all the carnival rides.
This year’s presenting sponsor is Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers. Additional sponsors include Boost Mobile, IKEA, LeafFilter, Schoolcraft College, State Farm, Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, and WeatherGard.
Liberty Fest will again be held in Heritage Park, located behind the Canton Administration Building at 1150 S. Canton Center Road in Canton. As always, entry into the festival grounds and parking are free!
