Bond Updates

Amerman Elementary
Principal Devon Caudill took us on a summer construction tour to showcase all the exciting Bond 2023 updates happening around the building! The new multi-purpose room expansion now has a roof, with crews preparing to pour the concrete floor – just in time for students to enjoy lunch there on the first day of school. The kindergarten playground is getting a complete makeover with new equipment and expanded swings. The front office is being expanded, a new canopy is being installed, and the entire front of the building is getting a fresh facelift. Inside, classrooms, the media center, STEAM room, music room, and courtyard are all being reconfigured and refreshed to better serve students and staff. Once completed, the building will feature a fully updated, cohesive look – both inside and out. Thank you for your continued support as we work to enhance the Amerman experience for our students!

Meads Mill Middle School
Principal Melissa Provo gave us a look as part of the July Bond 2023 Progress Update. Lockers have been removed to create more open collaboration space for students, and additional windows will soon bring more natural light into classrooms. Full bathroom renovations are underway, and major progress is being made on the 11,000-square-foot Robotics/STEAM addition, set to open by the end of December 2025.

Step back in time and celebrate 50 years of learning, laughter and legacy at Silver Springs! This family-friendly event will feature delicious food and fun for all ages, a “Walk Through the Decades” with archived memories and displays, a Legacy Tree planting ceremony, a time capsule burial for future generations.

Winchester Elementary is planning a full year of festive moments and magical memories with a joyful “Peace, Love, Dragons” theme. Here’s what to expect:

Special Invitation: Former staff and administrators are invited to attend Leader in Me Leadership Day on October 24, 2025. Come see how today’s dragons are leading with heart and purpose.

End-of-Year Block Party: We’ll wrap up this golden year with the ultimate Community Block Party in June 2026 (date TBD), featuring music, food, games, a time capsule, and more!
