Michigan's biggest free festival returns to Woodhaven this summer from July 9-12 at Civic Center Park, 23977 Hall Road. Families from all over southeast Michigan will experience the classic carnival midway, free nightly concerts, monster truck rides, car and motorcycle shows, festival concessions and much more!

The carnival midway, presented by Wade Shows, will feature dozens of classic amusement rides and attractions for all ages and be open all hours of the event. All-day ride passes are available onsite for $38 daily or $25 on Thursday for Family Fun Day. Discounted ride passes are available in advance at the Woodhaven Community Center, 23101 Hall Road.
Free concerts will be open to the public each night and feature a variety of genres. From bands and artists like Colt Ford, Vertical Horizon, Sunset Blvd., Wisteria and more, there will be music for all tastes. For $10 per ride on Thursday-Sunday, thrill seekers can experience a ride on the Shell Camino monster truck, a certified MTRA approved truck sure to be an experience to remember.
New to the festival this year is the GellyBall Game System, “the revolutionary, lower-impact shooting game for all ages.” The attraction features commercial-grade, battery powered blasters that competitors use to launch hydrated gel orbs at targets. The game experience will be available Thursday-Sunday.
Cornhole tournaments will be hosted by Mutha Shuckers, an official regional director for the American Cornhole League, at 12 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Onsite registration will begin at 11 a.m., and there is a fee to play. Top players and teams will earn cash prizes.
The Classic Car and Hot Rod Show will be held on Sunday from 12-5 p.m., presented by Shiny Rust Promotions. Check-in begins at 9 a.m. and there is a $10 entry fee per vehicle. Awards will be presented at 4 p.m., and the first 50 cars will receive a dash plaque. Individuals can register their vehicles at www.uncle-sam-jam.com/classic-car-show.
The 2nd Annual Reasons to Ride Custom and Vintage Bike Show, sponsored by Bernstein Law, will be held on Saturday at 12 p.m., and feature over 20 classes including custom and radical baggers, garage builds, trikes, vintage, custom paint and more. Riders can pre-register online for $15 and receive a free t-shirt and lanyard, or register onsite for $20. Winners will receive trophies, placards and special prizes.
The annual firework show, presented by the City of Woodhaven Downtown Development Authority and Ford Motor Company, will light up the night on Friday at 10 p.m., a cherished tradition since 2010.
