The Celebration of Hope fundraising gala benefiting New Hope Center for Grief Support is being held on May 10, 2024, from 6:00-10:00 p.m., at the Italian American Banquet and Conference Center of Livonia, 39200 Five Mile Road Livonia, MI 48154.

During the event, there will be opportunities to hear stories from those who have lost a loved one and through New Hope have found hope, healing and new beginnings. There will be a sit-down dinner and several opportunities to give. All proceeds that are donated will help ensure that there is no financial barrier for any child, teen or adult seeking grief support during their darkest days.

New Hope has served thousands of grievers across the state of Michigan over the past 24 years, and the organization continues to see a tremendous increase in the need for its services, especially for children and teens.

“When someone faces their darkest days after they have experienced the death of a loved one and reach out to New Hope for support, it is a gift to be able to offer our programs and services to them at no cost due to the generosity and financial support of others,” said Assistant Director Susan Arnould.

Erica Francis from Fox 2 Detroit and Kurt David will be hosting this wonderful event, which includes dinner, beer, wine, raffles, 50/50, a cake auction, paddles up giving opportunity, and a silent auction of artwork created by children who are part of New Hope’s child and family programming. Music and dancing will be provided by Audial Entertainment.
