The Village Theater at Cherry Hill, Canton’s premier performing arts center that is known for hosting memorable performances of live theatre, soulstirring music and dynamic dancing, also hosts monthly fine arts exhibitions by local, regional and national artists at The Gallery at Cherry Hill.

Located in Cherry Hill Village on the corner of Ridge and Cherry Hill roads, this 30,000-square-foot performing arts and education center continues to offer something for everyone, including art lovers. Nestled in the lobby of The Village Theater, this unique art gallery plays host to monthly exhibitions that display a wide selection of visual arts in all media.

Throughout the year, visitors can enjoy an eclectic mix of art such as oil paintings, sculptures, charcoal drawings, pastels, ceramics, photography, and wall-hangings featuring a diverse selection of forms, textures and materials.

Since The Gallery at Cherry Hill began exhibiting works of art, featured displays have included a wide variety of subject matters. Each month over 5,000 visitors to the gallery get a chance to see artwork from several emerging as well as established artists as new works are installed that reflect our regional diversity and strengthen Canton’s visual arts position within the region.

With each new exhibition, The Village Theater strives to make art accessible to broader audiences by championing the arts and creating a cultural environment that provides highly talented artists with an opportunity to present their work locally.

Village Theater staff are currently accepting proposals for the 2027 Exhibition season. If you are an artist who’s seeking a venue to exhibit your works in a group or solo exhibition, apply online at www.cantonvillagetheater.org by April 7, 2026. Artists are asked to submit high-quality digital images, contact information, current resume or biography, an artist statement, and availability along with an application.

The public is encouraged to stop in and check out each monthly exhibit. Admission is free. The gallery is open year-round Tuesday – Wednesday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., and Thursday – Friday from 4 – 8 p.m. The gallery is open during public performances at the theater but is closed on holidays.
