Cooking up fresh ideas using the highest-quality products
By Terry Jacoby

East Elm Kitchen Co. has been cooking up some amazing kitchen products and accessories since opening the doors in Plymouth in 2023, and the future appears to be boiling over with plenty of excitement, fellowship and fresh ideas.
Owner Rebecca Nicholson has created an experience that is personalized and has carefully curated a kitchenware collection that will feed your love for all things food.
“I believe our most significant, memorable moments happen around the table over a shared meal with our loved ones,” she said. “We offer the kitchen products and confidence you need to cook and entertain like a pro.”
East Elm Kitchen Co. serves up the highest quality home-kitchen products across a range of culinary dimensions, including cookware, bakeware, cutlery, tabletop, barware, coffee tools, and local artisan-made dry goods. The shelves at East Elm Kitchen Co. feature a high-end and diverse selection of brands including Zwilling cutlery and cookware from Europe; SMEG’s exquisite range of small appliances from Italy; Ankarsrum’s stand mixer from Sweden; Epicurean cutting boards from Wisconsin; USA Pan bakeware products from Pittsburgh; and many others.
Zwilling, world-renowned producers of performance cooking knives, cookware, and small electrics, recently awarded Nicholson with a trip to Europe to see how many of its products are manufactured. They were one of only 10 independent kitchen stores from across the country to be selected for the trip.
“Our store won a free trip to Europe through our biggest brand in the store, Zwilling, and it was based on our 2024 performance,” she said. “Myself and a team member from the store traveled through Germany, Belgium, France, and the Netherlands in June 2025, touring various factories within the Zwilling family of brands, including Zwilling, Demeyere and Staub.”
East Elm Kitchen Co. also has created a members-only cookbook club, Culinary Collective Membership. It is a quarterly cadence, with buy-in occurring each quarter, where members come together in the store once during that quarter and have a book club meeting – with lots of food, of course! While the club is sold out through the end of 2025, they will be accepting new members in January. Membership is limited to 20 people per quarter.
Located at 173 W. Liberty Street, in vibrant Old Village Plymouth, East Elm Kitchen Co. is committed to being a good neighbor. In January they held a Knife Sharpening for Charity event, where they sharpened over 250 knives and raised $1,800 for Plymouth Community Foster Closet.
“We continue to believe in the importance of supporting our community, and we were the headline sponsor of the Old Village Chili Cookoff competition in September,” Nicholson said. “Our resident chef instructor, Chef Allison Vyn, also competed for East Elm in the professional category.”
