Centennial Middle School's Charger TV students had an unforgettable day when Fox 2 news anchor Erica Francis visited to share insights into her successful career in broadcasting. Ms. Francis spoke directly to the budding journalists, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the news industry.
The excitement didn't stop there! Students participated in an engaging Q&A panel, getting their most burning questions answered. The highlight for many was seeing Ms. Francis jump right into the action, co-hosting a segment on the Friday Five, Centennial's popular weekly announcement show.
To cap off the day, students tested their knowledge in a fun trivia game about the esteemed anchor. It was an inspiring experience that brought the world of professional news right into CMS. A huge thank you goes to Ms. Francis for taking the time to give our students an unforgettable experience.
