Under the leadership of Dr. Nicole Teifer, who founded Today’s Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry in 2010, the practice has since expanded to a multi-clinic orthodontic practice serving over 25,000 patients with locations in Canton, Novi, Livonia and Woodhaven. Dr. Teifer’s family has a long history in the Downriver area, and she was a state champion cheerleader at Gibraltar-Carlson High School.

Now, the Woodhaven office is excited to welcome a new orthodontist to its office – Dr. Miranda Haas-Stroede.

Dr. Haas-Stroede grew up in Pinckney and is thrilled to be practicing in southeast Michigan. As a lifelong resident of the area, she brings not only outstanding orthodontic training, but an appreciation for the community she serves.

Her career aspirations began at an early age, and by 12 years old she knew she wanted to be an orthodontist. After experiencing many years of orthodontics herself while growing up, the positive and fun environment of the orthodontic office was a driving force in her career decision.

Dr. Haas-Stroede earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Oakland University, where she excelled as a Division I student athlete, competing in both cross country and track. After completing her undergraduate studies, she went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan. She continued her education at the University of Michigan in its three-year orthodontic residency program, graduating with a Master of Science in dentistry and a certificate in orthodontics.

With her extensive education and training in the field, Dr. Haas-Stroede is excited to help patients achieve the smiles of their dreams. She loves getting to know her patients and their families, and her goal is to make every visit as positive and comfortable as possible.

Outside of the office, Dr. Haas-Stroede lives an active life with her husband and son. She loves spending time outdoors, running and going on family walks. She is an avid reader and loves family game nights. A true Michigan and Detroit sports fan, she loves cheering on her favorite teams, especially the Lions and Michigan football.
